From Kayla Dowling – TAS and Hospitality Stage 4:
Our Year 7 students have been cooking up a storm in Technical and Applied Sciences! From sizzling tacos to gooey chocolate chip cookies and creamy mushroom and cheese pasta, the classroom has never smelled so delicious. But it’s not just about food—students are also diving into the digital world, developing game apps and learning how to navigate the internet safely and smartly.
Meanwhile, our Year 8 students are hands-on in Materials Technology, mastering skills in both Engineered Systems and Textiles. Their creativity shines through in the sensational items they’ve crafted, including stylish tote bags and clever mobile device holders.
TAS subjects are more than just fun—they foster collaboration, critical and creative thinking, and empower students to design real-world solutions. We’re proud of the innovation and enthusiasm our students bring to every project!
