A message from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education and Culture Teacher
Last week, a group of Year 11 and 12 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students attended the University of Newcastle's Wollotuka Emerging Day. The event gave students the opportunity to explore a variety of university study areas, including sports science, robotics, pharmacy, engineering, medicine, nutrition, business, and more. They also gained valuable insight into the Wollotuka Institute, the pathways it offers, and heard firsthand experiences from current university students. It was a rewarding and inspiring day for all involved.
